Hospital Manager Roy MaldonadoRoy, our Hospital Manager, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2006. He has worked in the veterinary field since he was 19 years old. Roy started as a veterinary technician in the US ARMY, which led him to his first “Feline Exclusive” practice in northern Virginia in 2000, where he worked under a board-certified feline specialist. He worked his way up to his current position of hospital manager. Roy completed his AA in Biology from SSC and CST from Lincoln Technical Institute.

Roy shares his home with his partner, Tim, and his three cats Kukui, Kaia and Kameko. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, karaoke or spending time with friends and family.

Veterinary Technician Jason MissalJason, our Lead Vet Tech, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2017. He has worked in the veterinary field since 2007. Jason leads the veterinary technicians with a can-do attitude. He is always upbeat and willing to assist anywhere he can. He worked in multiple hospitals in the past and also took an opportunity to manage a painting studio for a while.

Quickly, he realized that he could not cuddle with his human clients and decided to join the veterinary field once again. Jason shares his home with his wife, Leah; cats, Robbie and David; and dog, Cognac. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, such as biking, kayaking and camping.

Veterinary Technician Jacqui DavisJacqui, our Vet Tech, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2017. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2002. Jacqui started out at as a receptionist and then began to cross train as a vet tech, where she was quickly promoted to the shift lead. She has completed her B.S. in Psychology and is pursuing her CVT as well.

Jacqui shares her home with fiancé, Amos; three sons, Cortney, Nicholas and Jardian; two dogs, Looney and Oscar; and her cat, Mr. Blue. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, working and helping those in need (humans or animals).

Veterinary Technician Staci BermudezStaci, our Veterinary Technician / Inventory Specialist, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2015. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1999. Staci started as a Receptionist and worked her way up to Hospital Director in Miami. She took a short break to pursue her BS degree in Biology from FIU and also worked as a zoo keeper. She then moved back to Orlando where she returned to the veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician.

Staci shares her home with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, scuba diving, carpentry, and spending time with family.

Veterinary Technician Tiffany ReepTiffany, our Vet Tech, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2015. She started as a Kennel Assistant and quickly worked her way up to a Veterinary Technician with her attention to detail. Tiffany is attending courses to get her HVAC certification.

She shares her home with her cats: Sylvester, Scratch and Salvador. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys art, painting, drawing, playing the drums and spending time with friend and family.

 

Veterinary Assistant Kaitlin JonesKaitlin, our Veterinary / Kennel Assistant, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2017. She started as a Kennel Assistant and has begun training as a Veterinary Technician. Kaitlin has dreamed of becoming a Veterinary Technician for as long as she can remember.

She shares her home with her two cats: Fat Cat and Zelda; and her golden retriever Comet. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys playing video games, going for walks and drawing.

 

Receptionist Patti SingletonPatti, our Receptionist, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2003. She has worked in the veterinary field since she was 16 years old. Patti started as a Kennel Assistant and worked her way up to Practice Manager at her previous hospital. She also worked as a dog trainer for several years.

Patti shares her home with her wife, Melanie, three dogs; Maxine, Manny and Lance; her cat, Jag; and two birds, Fred and Gazoo. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee with Maxine and watching baseball and football.

Receptionist Shawn MananaShawn, our Receptionist, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2012. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2011. In this role, Shawn has gained a wealth of knowledge in a very short time. She has continued her education over the years and plans to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Law in the future.

Shawn shares her home with her husband Clyde: cat, Sebastian; and her horse, Princess. In her free time, she spends her time riding horses, playing golf and traveling.

Groomer Shalin BrowningShalin, our Groomer / Kennel Assistant, joined The Cat Hospital of Orlando in 2014. She started as a Kennel Assistant and trained in the grooming department to eventually take over and become the official groomer for the Cat Hospital of Orlando. She plans to complete her grooming certification in the near future.

She shares her home with her husband James and daughter Kalli, her two dogs Karma and Sebastian, and her cat Pippy. In her free time, she enjoys any outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.
